Lenny Kravitz – Blue Electric Light

A little rock, a little funk, and a little blues on this new album from Lenny Kravitz.

Check out the bass line grooves in the song, “It’s just Another Find Day (In This Universe of Love).”

Paul Weller – 66

Solo Album #17 was just released by English singer-songwriter Paul Weller. The title is a reference to his 66th birthday, which is tomorrow!

Future Classic Rock?

We won’t have Classic Rock in the future if we don’t find it today!

We listened to a lot of new releases this week and decided to share Softcult’s new release, Heaven.

Softcult – Heaven

Typically considered to be in the “Grunge” genre, and doesn’t have massive power chords of typical “classic” rock song, we did enjoy the artistic vibes on the song and video for “One Of The Pack,” which was released about a month ago on Youtube off the new album Heaven, released today!

You can purchase the new album from the Canadian band here!

Tarry and the Towns – “Lie to Me”

Sometimes you have to admit a great band name when you see one.

Taken straight from their website, “Tarry and the Towns is an up-and-coming band out of Austin, TX, whose humble beginnings can be traced back to the leisurely, quiet neighborhood of Tarrytown in “Old Austin” proper.

Comprised of brothers Ian and Zachary Sloan on Vocals, Michal Witek on Lead Guitar, Kenny Albert on Bass, and Conner Cox on Drums, their unique and diverse sound is a far cry away from the “humble” origins implied by their tribute name.

Check out their new single, “Lie to me,” on youtube below!
