Cullen Moore from Sleep Theory is a “nerd.”
That’s his word! Just because they play Lord of the Rings, Star Wars or Dragon Ball Z on a muted TV in the studio while recording justifies being a nerd? …Maybe.
Their latest album, Afterglow was released May 16, 2025 and it’s packed with hard rock with big melodies. Cullen says, “whether you’re a rocker, or more melodic, you’ll find something to latch onto.”
The single, “Static” is already in the top-5 on the Rock 30. Cullen said, “I’m here to have fun, and a lot of people get tilted about the auto-tune, and I think it’s the funniest thing. And it’s kind of like me poking at people. Because if you hate it that much, we’re just going to crank it you know (laughing).”
