Many of us missed our moment to see Led Zeppelin and have eagerly waited for the opportunity to come around again. Apparently, that chance might have happened over the last 10 or so years if it weren’t for the reunion denials made by frontman Robert Plant.
According to a report in the U.K.’s The Sun, as the band’s 50th-anniversary approaches, the iconic musician may finally be ready to change his mind!
Plant has been in “secret talks” to host a special Led Zeppelin event in October. The conversations in question reportedly took place between Plant, Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones.
Though Plant has been clear over the years that he believes the true Led Zeppelin died along with drummer John Bonham in 1980, odds-makers are reportedly putting money on a Led Zeppelin reunion in time for 2019 Glastonbury Festival.
