John Lennon and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band headlined the historic ‘One to One’ benefit cocert at Madison Square Garden in New York City 53 years ago (on Saturday, August 30, 1972), and in celebration of the anniversary a never-before-seen video of John’s solo hit, “Instant Karma! (We All Shine On),” has been released. Check it out: HERE.

The newly restored and edited footage features completely remixed and re-engineered audio from the original analog tapes, led by producer Sean Ono Lennon with Paul Hicks, Sam Gannon and Simon Hilton. Using brand new HD multitrack transfers by Rob Stevens, the recording was mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios.

“Instant Karma! (We All Shine)” previews the forthcoming box set ‘POWER TO THE PEOPLE (The Ultimate Collection)’, a new 12-disc/digital collection set for release on October 10. The estate of John Lennon had previously released videos for “Come Together” and “Well Well Well,” both from the evening concert.
