Dead & Co returning to Las Vegas Sphere for new residency

Dead & Company will reprise their Dead Forever Las Vegas Sphere Residency in 2025, in celebration of the group’s 10th anniversary.

Dead & Company has announced 18 new shows at the venue, beginning March 20 through May 2025. The upcoming dates will feature “updated visuals” to their career-spanning collection introduced during their inaugural 30-show Sphere residency.

The band is comprised of original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart along with guitarist John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, and drummer Jay Lane (replacing Bill Kreutzmann as he deals with health-related issues).

All the Sphere concerts take place on Thursday through Saturday of their respective weeks. The concerts are set for March 20-22, March 27-29, April 17-19, April 24-26, May 9-11 and May 15-17.

Weir will also be gearing up for his Dead Ahead festival Jan. 9-13 at Riviera Cancun, Mexico, alongside Chimenti, Burbridge and Lane, as well as Brandi Carille, Sturgill Simpson, Don Was, Trampled by Turtles, Brittney Spencer and Grace Bowers.
