Rock artists Bryan Adams and Rush’s Geddy Lee are among 25 Canadian artists under the group name ArtistsCAN who have recorded all-star charity cover of the classic Bill Withers’ song ‘Lean On Me’.

The single also includes Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Jann Arden, Michael Bublé, Sarah McLachlan, Serena Ryder, Johnny Orlando and Walk Off The Earth. The initiative, led by artists Tyler Shaw and Fefe Dobson, will see all proceeds support the Canadian Red Cross response to COVID-19 in Canada. The official music video for the charity single debuted during the TV special ‘Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble’, which saw Canadian artists, activists, actors and athletes sharing their stories of hope and inspiration to frontline workers. Canadians were invited to donate to Food Banks Canada in association with the broadcast to support local food banks as they face the impacts of COVID-19.

The ArtistsCAN version of ‘Lean On Me’ is available now via all digital retail platforms.  You can check out the video at the link here.
