Monday 3-9 | Daylight Saving, Boat Shows & Cheap Eats
It’s a pretty mellow one today. We kick things off with Click Click Boom, then roll into Rock & Roll News & Talk about the latest Daylight Saving time changes. From there the guys get into a wild idea, what if the show was broadcast from a boat? Later, Matthew from Austin American-Stateman stops by to talk about some of the best restaurants in Austin where you can eat for under $20
Tuesday 3-10 | Parking Lot Trouble, Soft and Hard Launch, & Age of Attraction
This morning was a rocky one. Matt and Bob walked into the studio this morning and noticed a situation in the parking lot. This led to the two having a bit of a squabble about what truly happened. Next Matt thinks about getting rid of his car. Unfortunately, the cat hasn’t been acting like himself recently leading him to needing to go to the vet. Matt is then shocked by the cost, causing him to think about getting rid of him. Then our intern Celeste brings up the topic of hard launching and soft launching. This gets everyone getting TOXIC as our toxic avenger brings up Netflix’s new show “Age of Attraction” which shows men and women of drastically different ages dating for potential marriage. After we end off the show with Jams with Dennis Rodmen, men on Reddit showing off their rooms, and Ubers new women only option.
Wednesday 3- 11 | Hair Language, Hawaii Dreams, & Unfiltered Talk
Bob rolls in late before Click Click Boom with Matt talking Austin’s best sandwiches. Intern Hailee explains the hair signals some girls use, which quickly turns into a very honest masturbation conversation with the guys. Chuy also announces a big trip he’s going on. Later, author Daniel Bukszpan joins to talk about his book & some rock history, plus we give away AC/DC tickets & Intern Hailee reveals her #2 movie pick.
Thursday 3-12 | Garlic in the B-hole, Netflix’s New Show, and Bob Shows His Age (Again)
This morning Chuy is out, and Sawyer is in taking control of the board. Matt brings up a story about AI medical chat bots recommending people to shove garlic in their rectum. Then we get into SXSW dying, is it trying the end or does Austin not like helping their own community. Next Bob and intern Celeste gets into Netflix’s new show “Age of Attraction” . After Matt heads out early and intern Celeste takes over by hosting a contest for Bob to see if he can guess where these pop culture movie quotes come from.
Friday 3-13 | Valet A-holes, Ghosts, and Travis Holp
This morning Matt has a bone to pick with one of the valet guys and their managers as they downplay the fact that they broke Matts wife car window controller. Next we get into Pixar’s new movie “Hopper”, ZYN pouches, and Bob potentially wanting to try THC drinks to be a bit happier. Then we have Travis Holp who is a median, which is an individual believed to act as an intermediary, communicating with spirits of the deceased or other non-physical entities. He joins us in the station to talk about his upcoming show at Cap City tonight. Travis also gives a reading to Bob, Rosa, and one of our listeners. After we have Drew Bennett pop in to talk about ghosts.
