The guys also hear fan reactions to the last Hot Dog Friday, sharing their own thoughts along the way. Things get a little more personal as Matt and Chuy talk about their doctor experiences and bloodwork results, followed by tips and advice from fans and callers. A mix of fun, food, and real talk.
Tuesday 2-3 | Attacking kids, When to Tell your partner ‘things are over’, and McDonald’s & Caviar
Today the guys encountered some technical difficulties, but the show must go on! It was a light day in the rock n roll and rock n roll jr. news. Now out in the real world a man in Kyle attacks kids while they are protesting outside their school. Then the conversation takes a turn of comedy being a dying art. After things, turn TOXIC! Chuy brings up a couple of topics like people not being interested in moving in with their romantic partner and when you’re breaking up/divorcing how long do you wait to tell your partner. Lastly as we get into the jams major business team up for some upcoming collabs.
Wednesday 2-4 | Bans, Valentines Day & Confessions
Today’s episode kicks off with HEB remodeling talk and some Valentine’s Day discussion, before the guys share their thoughts on Manny being banned from the building. That leads to listeners calling in about things they’d ban themselves. Later on, two listeners go head-to-head in a Sting ticket trivia contest centered on professional women’s sports, and guest Drew stops by to talk confessions
Thursday 2-5 | Matts Terrible Bad Day, Bob Tries Aura Farming, & Austin’s Best Spots for Valentines Day
Today Matt rejoins the guys after missing yesterday due to being sick but unfortunately still isn’t having the best day. Intern Celeste tries to teach Bob some new slang to have him stayed tapped in with pop culture. Austin American Statesmen restaurant reporter Mathew Odam joins to tell us about the best local restaurants in Austin for Valentines day.
Friday 2-6 | The BIG protest, Hotdog Friday, and a Wild Wild Day
This morning was a wild one, the guys started with Chuy receiving a phone call from Manny saying that he’s going to protest the building. Next we get on to the finial hotdog Friday of the season. Bob sends sawyer 50 dollars to make one last good hotdog of the season and boy he doesn’t disappoint. Drew joins us in the studio for a little to chime in on things. Then Manny returns live on the phone and this time recruiting people off the streets to help protest the station but things go sideways.
