Monday 2-23 | Presidential Myths, Olympics Recap & Life Talk
We kick things off with Click Click Boom breaking down some president myths, then roll into Rock & Roll News. Chuy shares stories from his trip to Interstellar (and gives a BBQ Review), before we dive into Thick Headlines. We also recap the Winter Olympics, then get a little deeper with a conversation about life and death with some thoughtful input from callers.
Tuesday 2-24 | Texas BBQ, Air fryers, and BAFTA
This Tuesday morning we kick things off with Click Click Boom, where Matt talks about jobs that used to be high paying back in the day. Next we get into Texas BBQ possibly being a thing of the past now due to economical changes. Then we get into “what are some things of the past that we thought would be around forever”. Then things get TOXIC in the studio as our toxic avenger brings up the controversial BAFTA situation between John Davidson, Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo.
Wednesday 2-25 | Hall of Fame Talk, Movie Feuds & SXSW Preview
Today the guys kick things off by discussing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees, before Matt randomly dives into the average size of a wiener. Intern Hailee shares her favorite movies, which somehow sparks Bob’s hot take about Steven Spielberg. To wrap things up, guests from SXSW stop by to talk about how to volunteer, what it’s like behind the scenes, and what to expect at this year’s festival.
Thursday 2-26 | New Tv Shows, Runny Number 2 & NASCAR Christopher Bell
Today we start off the morning talking about trashy reality tv, specifically love is blind and then Chuy brings up a new show on HBO Max titled “Neighbors”. Then Matt joins us after dealing with a number 1 in the number 2 slot due to side effects from his gout medication. Next we have a speedy interview with NASCAR driver Christopher Bell, where Matt and our race car fanatic Sawyer take lead.
Friday 2-27 | Looking your age , Sawyer Steals, & Comedian Dean Stanfield
The guys get into a conversation on how they got into radio, specifically how they “lucked” into the roles that they have today. Then during the break, the guys are looking at threads post and notice the profile pic of a woman claiming to be in her 60’s/70’s and she looks a little younger than she claims to be. This gets the guys talking about age, looks, and if Sawyer is satisfied with his current life compared to NASCAR driver Christopher Bell. Then we have local Austin Comedian Dean Stanfield join the guys in the studio, talking about his upcoming show at Capcity and what he’s been up to recently. Next, Sawyer tells his story about how he got riled up that he needed to call Matt. Lastly, we have a head to head competition for AC/DC and Eagles tickets.
