Tuesday 02-17 | Weird Dreams, The Good ol Social Media Days, and Micro-Cheating
This week the guys return from Valentine’s Day weekend, they start off talking about the weird dreams that they’ve been having. Then they get into what they were up to during Valentine’s.
Matt brings up the question “do you miss the old social media”, the social media that wasn’t full of ads, AI slop, and useless internet discourse.
Then things turn TOXIC and our toxic avenger talks about things that could be considered ‘micro-cheating.’
Wednesday 02-18 | Burgers, Bruce, & The Internet Debate
We kick things off with Click Click Boom and the Top 15 burgers, then hit Rock and Roll News and some Ash Wednesday talk.
After Thick Headlines, we dive into the mystery of the missing studio cameras, whether or not we belong on the internet, and just how addicted we are to our phones (screen time included).
Bob also gives away Bruce Springsteen tickets before we wrap with Facts & Jams of the Day.
Thursday 02-19 | Official Unc Status, Flower Crossing the Border, and Office Awards
Bob starts off the show by proving he has not reached “unc” status. Then the guys get into a conversation about Chuy going to a wedding in Mexico and the guys try to warn him about not taking “flower” across the border. Next Sawyer gets a little upset about how he didn’t win a award in the office award ceremony. Lastly we had two people go head-to-head for Bruce Springsteen tickets!
Friday 02-20 | Soundcloud Rappers, Internet Crazes, and Shadow Cats + Open Phone Friday
Today we are joined by an audience of 2!
We start the morning talking about Soundcloud rappers. Matt’s daughter has been interested in this rapper named “Nettspend” and the guys react to it. Then they get into PUNCH the monkey in Japan. Then we talk about Burger King Japan’s new burger “big mouth white”. Then we have our special guest Dustin who works at Shadow Cats, who gave his spiel on the nonprofit that supports cats with leukemia. After that we had open calls where you the listeners call in and get to share or ask anything. Lastly Bob wanted to try a new way to give away tickets and well, this contest speaks for itself.
