Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” Now Most-Streamed Song Of The 20th Century

“Bohemian Rhapsody” has been named the most streamed song of the 20th century, surpassing Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’Mine”. According to Universal Music Group, the song has garnered over 1.6 billion streams globally, despite the fact that frontman Freddie Mercury has been dead since 1991.The song also took first place as most-streamed “Classic Rock” song of all time.

Released in 1975, “Bohemian Rhapsody” has hit the Billboard’s Hot 100 three times in three different decades as of Novemeber 2018; the second time being in 1992 after it was featured in the movie Waynes World. The song was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2004.
