Beach Boys – Shut Down Vol. 2 Remaster
Some classics are being reissued on vinyl lately and you won’t want to miss out on the 60th anniversary reissue of Shut Down, Vol. 2 by the Beach Boys!
It is a gorgeous Blue and White Marble record available from the Beachboys shop here!
Deep Purple – Machine Head (Super Deluxe)
A 1972 classic from the moment it was concieved and blasted out on radios across the world, Deep Purple’s classic album Machine Head is getting another re-issue, availble for sale on March 29th.
This “Super Deluxe” Package includes 3 CDs, LP and Blue Ray disk that contains two live performances, including Paris Theatre in London, and the famous Montreux Casino show that famously spurred the song and lyrics, “Smoke on the Water” forever in history after the venue in Switzerland burned down. If you haven’t owned the originals, then this is a reissue sure to please any rock fan! A Perfect Circle, Pusifer, and Primus – Sessanta E.P.P.P.
Seems like the three P’s are having a blast with music and so the upcoming Sessanta EPPP tour is now the name of the joint effort EP coming your way on March 29th!
Unfortunately, this tour won’t be coming too close to Austin, but you do have a chance to catch them near Houston or Dallas at these upcoming shows:
April 12th – Irving, TX @ Toyota Music Factory
April 13th – The Woodlands, TX @ The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Allegaeon – Iridescent (Music Video)
There aren’t too many new metal album releases that are on Chuck’s radar this week but one song he will be playing tonight on Midnight Metal’s Free-For-All Friday is Allegaeon’s track “Iridescent.”
Allegaeon will be in Austin at Come and Take it Live on 4/21 with Decapitated and Kataklysm, and their new single kicks…
Also, they are in hot dog suits for the video … Need we say more?
