Jackie Venson Residency at Antone’s + Paramount Theater January 2024

Jackie Venson January Residency in Austin - 2024

Looking for Local Licks from one of Austin’s favorite Blues + Soul Rockers?

You may remember last April when the Country Music Awards arrived in Austin and our ATX Local Jackie Venson jammed alongside 90’s hit-maker Alanis Morissette.

“I’m still in shock that I get to share the stage with Alanis Morissette,” Venson said a few days before the performance via text to The Statesman. “Not only is she an incredible songwriter and performer but Alanis is also a force for good in the industry and has done so much to support women in music, including her recent charity work at We Are Moving the Needle. She’s exactly the type of musician advocate I strive to be myself.”

Jackie Venson often performs and records with a three-piece band. You can find her at Antone’s Night Club for the next two Saturdays in January: On the 13th, catch her with Austin locals Trouble In The Streets , and January 20th with ATX’s Nemegata !

Her final residency show is at @ParamountTheater on the 27th and you can find those tickets right here!

You can check out more from her website including a video performance at jackievenson.com

Venson’s influences include Buddy Guy, Sade, and Alicia Keys (VIA WIKIPEDIA)
