A fun way to kick off the week, and yes, we need you to clap please. The guys get into Tiger Woods talk and ask the big question: Could a recession actually be good for us? A little bit of scandal, a little bit of real talk, a classic start to the week.
Tuesday 03-31 | Easter plans, Nerding out, and Chris HardwickTower Line Down, Lawn Mowers, and Personality or Looks
This morning was a wild one, the radio tower line got cut so people could only listen to us via digital streaming. The guys decide to work less (isn’t that everyday tho). Drew joins us in the room to give us some updates and then the guys get into a conversation about the apocalypse and survival. Later we get into some dad talk about lawn mowers and this gets the guys watching videos about people turning lawn mowers into go karts. Then things get TOXIC as our toxic avenger brings up the topic of personality or looks.
Wednesday 04-01 | Burger Talk, Rumors & A New Word
The show kicks off with Kristi Noem husband’s controversy, which somehow teaches us a new word. Then it’s all about burgers. What makes us a good one, can we still innovate, and are there just too many burgers spots in Austin? We wrap things up by starting rumors, sharing rumors, sharing some from our own workplace, and sharing the wild one callers have to offer.
Thursday 04-02 | Fears of Flying, Artemis 2, & Taco Talk
It’s a rainy morning today and Bob and Chuy start the conversation off about slick roads, then Chuys gets into his trip to Hawaii and his concerns about flying. Next the guys get into the launch of Artemis II that happened last night. Chuy is having a hard time understanding why this is so impressive if we’ve done it before. Then Matt shows a video of a Latino guy getting dogged on after saying that Bill Millers tacos are the best. This gets the people going about how good the tacos are and which places in the city have the best breakfast tacos.
Friday 4-03 | Easter plans, Nerding out, and Chris Hardwick
This morning the guys start off the morning talking about Easter coming up this weekend, and what plans they have. Then we have Actor/voice actor, host, and comedian Chris Hardwick join us early at the station where he talks about us about being a dad, his past work, and nerding out about things that he loves. Then Chris stays with us ahead of his shows at Cap City Comedy Club, to play a game of this or that hosted by intern Celeste. Then Matt brings up a hidden gem of peak dating show history that Chris hosted tilted “Shipmates”.
