Black Stone Cherry has a lot to celebrate in 2026. It is the 20th anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut album and vocalist Chris Robertson will be LA Lloyd’s guest this week for his 16th appearance on the Rock 30 Countdown, where they will reflect on their first meeting & interview.
To honor the 20-year milestone of releasing music, fans will get Celebrate, a new 7-song EP from the band, on March 6. LA Lloyd will premiere the lead track off the EP, and chat with Chris about the many cities they will bring this celebration globally, on The Celebrate Tour!
With 2026 marking the 20th anniversary of Black Stone Cherry’s self-titled album release, LA Lloyd gets a little nostalgic. He went into the Rock 30 vault and found audio from an interview February 2, 2009. It was regarding a track called Reverend Wrinkle, with Chris’ story about the fictional character and his sister thinking the title was Rip Van Winkle.
