Actor and Austin spirit guide Matthew McConaughey joined Austin FC and city officials in groundbreaking for the new stadium.
What McConaughey didn’t know, was that his custom made Pearl Snap embroidered rose shirt was going to take the Internet by storm. Amongst the praise for the ground breaking (and noted by local news sources of information) was the custom rose snap worn by our friend Matthew.
This media attention – and perhaps the need for attention – drove one local disc jockey insane with jealousy. The man, yet to be identified, broke into the McConaughey compound and managed to acquire the rare and gorgeous pelt that is a tick off from being human flesh devoured by the gods. The shirt is currently on sale for $999.
