Kenny Wayne Shepherd joins LA Lloyd on the Rock 30 this weekend to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ledbetter Heights (30th Anniversary Sessions), the album that launched his career and introduced a new generation to his guitar-driven sound. Kenny was still in high school when he recorded the original album, and three decades later he has returned to those songs with a fresh perspective while honoring the spirit of the original recordings. While Ledbetter Heights (30th Anniversary Sessions) looks back at where it all started, many fans know him through “Blue On Black,” one of the biggest songs of his career. The song found a new audience when Five Finger Death Punch recorded their own version, bringing together Kenny, Brian May, and Brantley Gilbert for a collaboration that introduced the song to an entirely new generation of rock fans!
