Did you know Alzheimer's is "a progressive, degenerative disease that will kill brain cells and may lead to loss of brain function." Chances are someone you know will be diagnosed with the debilitating disease in your lifetime. The Alzheimer's Association is an amazing organization that is leading the charge with helping provide support for those diagnosed, and trying to find a cure to END Alzheimer's. Every year they host a Walk to END Alzheimer's to bring the community together to raise awareness and funds to help support their nonprofit.

Alejandra Scott and Sabrina Bullard stopped by Local Insights to share the great programs the Alzheimer's Association provides for families and individuals dealing with Alzheimer's diagnoses, and to encourage you to join the Walk to END Alzheimer's on October 13th at The Travis County Expo Center.
