Did you know there’s over 20,000 acres of green space in Austin? The City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department sent a Park Ranger to my studio to learn us a thing or two about how to properly enjoy this green space to ensure it stays natural and healthy. Park Rangers look to interact with the public, help interpret natural resources, and encourage stewardship of said natural resources. You can help preserve Austin’s natural spaces and minimize your impact by practicing the 7 Principles of Leave NO Trace.
