Join forces with Austin bands, music venues, and local businesses to help benefit SXSW Cares. From Saturday, April 12 to Sunday, April 20 you can go a variety of shows all throughout the city and part of the proceeds will go towards assisting the victims of the crash in the Red River dsitrict during SXSW that claimed four lives and injured dozens more.

We've got an easy-to-read schedule of all the shows so you can take a look at all the great artists and venues that have come together to help out. The only thing missing is you! Some of the bands include Black Pistol Fire, UME, Authority Zero, and more.

WHAT: SXSW Cares Big Benefit
WHEN: April 12 - April 20
WHERE: Venues all around the city, including Stubb's, Cheer Up Charlie's, Red 7, Holy Mountain, and more
WHO: You and all sorts of Austin bands!

And live music ...

The comedy shows offer a chance to take a seat, laugh and break away from the loud music and chaos of downtown Austin.  If you’ve got a SXSW badge, you’ve got access to SXSW Comedy – Film, Interactive, Music, Gold, and Platinum badges get you into comedy shows. Here are a few (later in the festival) shows I hope to catch:

-The Imaginary Radio Program at The Hideout, 930p

-The Chris Gethard Show at Esther's Follies, 6p

-Superego w/ Paul F. Tompkins, Matt Gourley, Jeremy Carter, and Mark McConville at Esther's Follies, 4p
-TJ Miller at Lustre Pearl, 730

Howard Kremer's Who Charted? (Live Podcast) at Esther's Follies, 6p
