Hosted annually since 1989 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) of Greater Austin, the Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon recognizes outstanding achievements by individuals, corporations, foundations, youth and nonprofit organizations whose contributions have positively impacted the quality of life of Central Texans.
Awards will be presented at the annual Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Austin.
The selection committee, comprised of community leaders and previous award winners, named eight 2014 Philanthropy Day Honorees. Honorees were announced on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at a cocktail reception at the Hyatt Regency. Each honoree will be officially recognized and presented with an award at the February 12 luncheon.

Proceeds from the Philanthropy Day luncheon support the development and growth of fundraising professionals through the Greater Austin Chapter of AFP. AFP promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession, providing scholarships for continuing education, while conducting education, advocacy, research and certification programs on philanthropy.
