The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón is a pillar of the world’s premier sports car racing series. The 10-race championship is a venue for some of the planet’s largest auto and tire manufacturers to go head-to-head on legendary circuits, piloted by the sport’s most respected drivers and teams. With its multi-class racing among exotic and technically advanced prototypes and legendary GT sports cars like Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, BMW and SRT Viper, the Series gives fans non-stop action on track and an open and friendly paddock, while providing manufacturers with a real-life laboratory to push the limits of automotive innovation and technology.
World Endurance Championships
The FIA World Endurance Championship represents the popularity and attraction of endurance racing. A true world championship with events in eight countries on four different continents, competing on some of the best circuits around the world - Spa-Francorchamps, Le Mans, Fuji, Interlagos, Silverstone, Bahrain, Shanghai and Circuit of the Americas.
The jewel in the crown of the World Championship is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which this year celebrates the 90th anniversary of the first running of the world's greatest endurance race in 1923.
These are long races where anything can happen: Le Mans Prototypes and GTs on the same grid, in the hands of both professional and gentlemen drivers, who include Bruno Senna, Giancarlo Fisichella, Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish, Alex Wurz, Kamui Kobayashi, Nick Heidfeld and 2012 World Champions Marcel Fässler, Benoit Tréluyer and Andre Lotterer.
World famous brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Honda, Lotus, Morgan, Nissan, Porsche and Toyota will compete in Texas to see who will be victorious at the first running of the 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas, Round 5 of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship.
