On Thursday, April 11, Hope House of Austin will be hosting their semi-annual event, Help Hope, to raise funds to help supplement their operating budget. Featuring live music by Austin musician, Guy Forsyth, and local troubadours, The Chubby Knuckle Choir, the event promises a night of live entertainment, a silent auction, and food. Held at Javelina on Rainey Street, Help Hope offers Austinites the chance to dance it up for a good cause.
“Hope House provides a forever home for developmentally delayed children and adults. Together, we create a sense of family and belonging in the community, and it is that community support that makes the magic happen. Creating transformative opportunities for all involved,” says Dave Gould, Executive Director of Hope House. "Hope House has a long history of relying on the community as the last ingredient to make the magic happen. With that in mind, we invite the community to come out and join us for a fun night where we Help Hope."
“We are very excited about introducing Hope House to the Austin community in a fun way. We hope you can join us at Javelina Bar Thursday April 11th, 2013 at 7 pm. Let’s come together and give what we can to make it better for others.”
