March 9 and 10, 2013
Blending artistry with nature, the Wildflower Center’s Artists & Artisans Festival showcases the work of more than 20 Texas artists who work with pressed wildflowers, hand-painted silk, nature photographs and more. Their art for sale will be showcased 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and includes iron sculptures, beaded and silver jewelry, greeting cards, and watercolors. Meet artists in the store Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. and visit with Shou Ping during the same time period Sunday at her 3-D watercolor painting exhibit indoors. Also meet kinetic sculptor Jim La Paso in The Store Sunday afternoon and view his steel creations on the grounds.
