WHAT: The 8th Annual Texas Fall Fest & Wine Auction is a two-day festival celebrating the best wine and culinary delights from the Texas Hill Country. Beginning on Friday, November 16th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. guests can relax with a gorgeous Sunset Stroll Farm to Market Wine Fair at the Horseshoe Bay Yacht Club Ballroom with a stellar marketplace of Hill Country wineries and Central Texas restaurants. Also guests can enjoy shopping with 17 artisan producers. Ticket price ($40.00) includes wine and food tastings. Artisan wares and bottles of wine will also be available for purchase.

Saturday, November 17th from 2:30 – 5:30 pm is the ‘Formula 1: Texas Wine & Food Trail’ on Old Historic Main Street in Marble Falls & Reception, Wine Dinner and Auction at 6:00 pm at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott Ballroom featuring Celebrity Chef Josh Watkins.
The Formula 1: Texas Wine & Food Trail will lead guests on a delicious stroll down historic Main Street in Marble Falls beginning at 5:30 pm, with appetizers at five different shops paired with a selection of Texas Wines.

Reception, Dinner and Live Wine Auction will feature Chefs Josh Watkins and Gilbert Moore of the Carillon restaurant in Austin for an extraordinary multi-course feast at the at the Horseshoe Bay Marriott Ballroom. Dinner will be followed with a short and lively fine wine auction with rare wines and unique travel packages.
About Chef Josh Watkins: By the age of 23, Watkins earned the Chef de Cuisine position and later made an appearance on Food Network’s Iron Chef America alongside Bull where they battled celebrity chef Bobby Flay. He also accompanied Chef Bull to the James Beard House in New York City and the Aspen Food and Wine Festival. In 2007, Watkins was named executive chef of the Driskill Grill and earned the establishment a consecutive five-star rating.
Chef Watkins’ passion for farm fresh, ingredient-driven food led him to open The Carillon Restaurant at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in June of 2008. His unique approach to traditional foods and emphasis on using local, sustainable ingredients has caught the attention of food critics across the state, including the Austin American Statesman’s respected food critic, Mike Sutter. Sutter gave the restaurant a well-earned four-star rating.

The Friday November 16th Sunset Stroll Farm to Market Wine Market will be held at the Horseshoe Bay Yacht Club Ballroom from 6 – 9:00 pm located on The Cape, Horseshoe Bay, 78657.
The Saturday, November 17th Formula 1: Texas Wine & Food Trail will take place from 2:30 – 5:30 pm on Main Street in Marble Falls. Check-in will be held at Old Oak Square.
The Reception, Dinner and Live Wine Auction will be held at 6:00 pm at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott Ballroom, 200 Hi Circle North, Horseshoe Bay, 78657.
WHY: Texas Fall Fest has a two-fold purpose: to expose the public to the merits and importance of Texas wine and food by spotlighting the best wines, foods, chefs and restaurants in our state and to raise funds for much needed Texas wine research as well as for other worthy healthcare needs. This year’s beneficiaries are Texas wine and grape research and CASA of the Highland Lakes area (Court Appointed Special Advocates.)
