Dudley and Bob Show 10-10-2013

*Dale is out today to get his chompers worked on. Best of luck.
*We started off this morning with a bit of pontification. Bob asked us what we thought of the "cosmic lottery," the hundreds of small events that lead to something random. It started with a story about the crack in Bob's windshield. A tiny rock hit it and now there's a crack that's slowly spreading. But if Bob had left his house five seconds earlier or later, then that rock wouldn't have hit his windshield. Do you see where we're going with this? Everything that happens is randomly affected by everything else.
*Sleep-texting is a problem for some people. Like Carissa. She proceeded to tell us about all the weird things that she does in her sleep. Like text. And eat whole apples. And go to pools.
*Here's our Pat Robertson quote of the day.
*You're welcome, Matt.
*WHAT HAS RECESS COME TO? This school has banned balls, cartwheels, tag...basically they've banned FUN.
*It turned into a pretty long discussion about how recess was a dangerous time, but it meant a lot to us as kids not just because we had fun, but because we had to learn how to deal with other kids, defeat, injuries, everything.
