British fashion label Mulberry is planning to offer more affordable products in the near future in a bid to boost its growth. From June, it will be introducing a new range of styles in the £500 - £700 price bracket. The news was revealed as the alexander wang outlet Somerset-based brand today issued a second consecutive profit warning, causing its share value to fall by four per cent. Godfrey Davis, Mulberry's acting CEO and non-executive chairman, announced the strategy in the wake of the departure of former CEO, Frenchman bottega veneta outlet Bruno Guillon, who left the company in March. Formerly managing director of Hermes in France, Guillon's aim was to make Mulberry more exclusive but sharp price rises alienated customers and his vision contributed to the departure of creative director Emma Hill, who was responsible for the hugely popular Alexa and Del Rey bags.
