Did you know Melanoma is the most dangerous form of skin cancer? Meredith's Mission for Melanoma is dedicated to raising funds for research of Melanoma, awareness of the deadly disease, and providing support for individuals and families going through treatment. Last year, MMFM was able to hand a $25,000 check to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for Melanoma research. Join them this year for their 2nd Annual Gala to raise even more money to research Melanoma and provide support to families dealing with a Melanoma diagnoses.
Stephanie Whitten, a founder of MMFM, stopped by Local Insights to share the story on why MMFM was created, and to invite you to the 2nd Annual MMFM Gala, May 13th at the Renaissance Hotel. It will be a fun night of food, drink, casino, silent auction and awareness, all in the name of defeating Melanoma. Get your tickets to attend the gala TODAY! Give this a listen, and then help spread the word!

If you're going through a Melanoma diagnoses, or you'd like to learn how you can help someone who is, please visit MeredithsMission.org.
Foreigner will be rocking the Austin 360 Amphitheater August 20th! If you're in a local high school choir, get registered today to sing with the band on-stage. The choir that's chosen gets $500 and will work to raise money for the Grammy Foundation's initiative to help high school music program whose funding has been cut.
