Keep Austin Fed!

Did you know 40% of the food in the United States is thrown out? That's a powerful statement. Imagine all the people that could be fed with that surplus of unused food. Keep Austin Fed not only imagined it, they are now collecting 30,000 pounds of food a month to literally Keep Austin Fed.

Executive Director, Susan Nahkunst and Operations Director, Joesph de Leon, explain how Keep Austin Fed works, how it has grown over the years, and how individuals or restaurants can donate and volunteer to help area charities get surplus food to feed hungry Austinites.
