listen live 10a-3p

Did you know that KLBJ FM had a hand in the origins of Chuy's Children Giving To Children Parade? What started out 27 years ago as an attempt to garner gifts for children who needed them, has turned into a full blown parade through downtown Austin! Join in the tradition this November 28th at 11am. This year the parade is looking to beat last year’s record of 20,000 donated toys for Austin Police Operation Blue Santa! Bring a NEW and UNWRAPPED toy to the parade and watch as the children of Austin give back to children who are in need.

Brooke and Debbie tell you all about this ridiculously fun Austin tradition on this episode of Local Insights!

Here's a quick glimpse of the massive parade!

Get all the details for the 27th Chuy's Children Giving To Children Parade, HERE! And make plans to be downtown with the family on November 28th!
