Since 1982 Alzheimer's Texas has been providing "information, referrals, and a variety of support programs for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and their family members, caregivers and professionals." I hope that no one in your family ever has to go through an Alzheimer's diagnoses, but chances are you'll have to deal with it one way or another. My Grandfather suffered with Alzheimer's for many years before he passed and Alzheimer's Texas was an AMAZING asset to have supporting my family. They taught us how to cope and deal with the many struggles that diagnoses can bring to not only the individual, but the family. You can help support this wonderful nonprofit by registering for their 26th Annual Travis County Walk on October 7th at Camp Mabry!

Christian Wells, President of Alzheimer's Texas, stopped by Local Insights to give you the scoop on the 26th Annual Travis Co. Walk to benefit Alzheimer's Texas. How will you deal with an Alzheimer's diagnoses in your family? Christian explains all the great programs AT provides for families through all stages of the disease. Spread the word and make it out to Camp Mabry on October 7th!

Check out some footage from the 2016 walk and get yourself registered for this year's TODAY!
