Comin' At Ya Review

Comin’ At Ya! takes place in the wild west, where H.H. Hart is hell-bent on rescuing his kidnapped wife from two brothers, Pike & Polk, who are kidnapping women all along the Rio Grande and then selling them to Mexican Brothels.
This goofy western flick hummed out overblown stereotypes in every scene. Women were portrayed as weak & stupid - unable to defend themselves from a colony of bats. The grown women hold no standings in the rugged west when compared to 14-year-old Mattie Ross from True Grit. The Scottish priest/sidekick, of course, had to have a bagpipe and kilt.
The use of 3D was irrelevant & delivered to the audience as if a 12 year-old was in charge of cinematography. The desire to see different props dropped onto the camera just for the sake of 3D was annoying. A fight scene between H.H. Hart & an Indian was wondrous ...

While the glitz and glamour of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards was marred by the tragedy of the death of Whitney Houston, the Foo Fighters and Adele were the biggest winners at Sunday night's telecast of music's biggest night, taking home five and six trophies respectively.
The Foos took home four trophies before they show even started, including Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for "White Limo," Best Rock Song for "Walk," Best Long Form Music Video for "Foo Fighters: Back and Forth," and Best Rock Album for Wasting Light (their fourth prize for this honor, making them the winningest band in this category, ever.)
Check out their acceptance speech for Best Rock Album, which frontman Dave Grohl touted as quite meaningful: “To me this award means a lot because it shows that the human element of music is what’s most important,” he said, as members of the audience began to applaud. ...

The big game is merely a few days away, and with it comes the glory and gaudy spectacle that is the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Sure, there are the commercials, oh, and football, but the nearly 30-minute musical extravaganza in the middle of the game is what music fans will be talking about the next day.
This year, Madonna will take the stage in Indianapolis, performing a set that she's been quite hush-hush about. She told the Indy Star, however, that this has been one of the toughest preparations she's ever experienced: “I have to say that over 25 years of performing, I’ve never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or detail-oriented. I’m really excited to be here. I feel very welcomed. I’ve been inside the stadium, and the stadium is great. I just keep pinching myself.”
Following the infamous Janet Jackson "nipple-gate" incident, the Super Bowl seemed to ...
