San Diego Fireworks Display Set Sky Ablaze

It seems that San Diego skies experienced the most fabulous of wardrobe malfunctions this Fourth of July. Surely there must have been kids with sparklers or dads on the grill who reacted startled to the point of hurting someone when the entirety of the fireworks show set off. Apparently there was a technical glitch which caused the "Big Bay Boom," and what was meant to last 20 minutes only lasted about 15 seconds. Over 500,000 people were likely confused and startled when waves of electric pinks and lavenders bursted in air over San Diego Bay near Coronado Island.  Can we get an "OOPS?"
