Black Sabbath Was Awesome!

I have to admit I was a bit anxious to see Black Sabbath at The Frank Erwin Center after reading a review of their Houston show. The author of the article was quite harsh in his critique of Ozzy's voice not hitting a right note all night. It was odd to finally see/meet Ozzy Osbourne in person after growing up with his music. Never in a MILLION years would have I expected the rock show Ozzy put on after meeting him backstage. During the meet and greet he was passive, calm, and gave off the impression that he would break something if he moved too fast. I did have a moment to ask him a question for all the Rowdy Rockers. Click play to hear his response. Once he hit the stage it was a totally different story. Ozzy and the band performed like a fairly young group. No, the guys did not have the energy of 18 year olds, but the performance was like a machine fueled by Rock N Roll. Regardless of what key Ozzy sang in, the fact the man can still move like he does and put on such a show is down right amazing to me. I'm glad I got a chance to see these musical legends do their thing live. The drummer filling in for Bill Ward is Ozzy's solo band drummer, Tommy Clufetos, and man is he a bad ass! LA Lloyd told me he thought he hit the skins like Bonham, and man did he ever hit the skins hard. What an amazing show! If you missed it, here is video of the encore, 'Paranoid'. Did you make the KLBJ pre party? Pics are HERE. And awesome pics of Black Sabbath are HERE. The video is of 'Paranoid', and it was the encore song of the night. Warning:Language duh...
