Anybody going to be in Rhode Island over Labor Day Weekend? I have tickets to the Rhythm & Roots Festival to give away (JUST tix, you'll have to get yourself there!) Some of the bands playing include Marcia Ball, Danny Barnes, Texas Tornados, Geoff Muldaur and the Texas Shieks. Let me know if you can go!
ALSO, Van Wilks, just back from touring the Virgin Islands, will be stopping by. He's bringing some copies of his DVD to give away.
I'm also looking forward to hearing some stories about the late Nick Travis, a wonderful guy who played bass with Van and many other Austin bands. We'll have some tickets to give away for the Nick Travis Memorial show Friday 8/27 at Threadgill's.

This Tuesday, August 17th, at 10:30 p.m. Loris welcomes a whole slew of Austin musicians to the KLBJ studios. Members of Vallejo, Podunk, and Robert Johnson's Soul will be stopping by to chat, reminisce, and give away tickets to the show at Antones Friday, August 20th at Antones. We'll even have a VIP table for 4 to give away! Plus, we'll debut a new song from Podunk!
